Michael Uhl is a writer and a Vietnam veteran, author of the Vietnam memoir, Vietnam Awakening: My Journey From Combat to the Citizens Commission on Inquiry on U.S. War Crimes in Vietnam, about his experiences as a lieutenant in military intelligence and his anti-war activities back home. He and TCBH writer John Grant will be traveling to Rio de Janeiro and will report on what they find in Brazil. Uhl is fluent in Portuguese. He lives in Maine.
